Founding Inspiration
A life touched by compassion became a life committed to giving it away.
Brian Mukasa lost his parents in 2000 at just two years old and was raised in an orphanage. In those early years, he experienced vulnerability, uncertainty, and the extraordinary difference that compassionate people can make in the life of a child.
Even as a student, he began sharing from his small termly upkeep of UGX 40,000(USD 16) in 2012 to support others in need. What looked small in value carried something much bigger: a conviction that no one should be left alone in hardship when love, care, and opportunity can help change a future.
That early generosity became the seed of a larger calling: to become for others what someone once became for him, a light in darkness and a steady reminder that hope can still grow.
"I thank the people who raised me particularly Mr. Paul Howells and the many people who stood with him, the whole committee
and the family of Isaac’s House and James Dunn.Things happen for a reason, that’s why I fully know because of the great purpose upon my life
I had to go through in the orphanage to learn how things are done in love. I learnt a lot from Him and forever deep in my heart I will prioritize
what was done for me. The people that supported him to support us in best schools, good meals, best shelter, quality medication, good conversations and life style."
"I thank the local family for the bond and this made me know one may not have a lot to support another but with the little one has,it becomes a lot to one without.
am forever grateful and proud of the life I lived during my time in the orphanage. God has placed a big good burden upon me and am so grateful that am committed to carry it.
Alone it’s heavier but with someone’s hand it’s more possible."
